About William Hardison, Mba
My ability to communicate effectively, lead by example, think critically in high stress situations, and build relationships allows me to provide my employer with effective leadership and decision-making. I have been working as a first-line leader of Soldiers and employees for over eight years, managing both unionized and non-unionized workforces, and gaining an uncommon advantage when problem solving and managing employees in a variety of situations. Prior to graduating in April 2015, I interned for Tektronix, the world leader in test, measurement, and monitoring technology. While interning in the role of Commodity Manager, I worked intimately on new product development, in particular the product life cycle for bringing OEM products to market. I kick-started a Kaizen event that led to the extension of days paid out with a number of suppliers and led the introduction of a just-in-time inventory system with a new supplier. I returned to Tektronix in June 2015 in a full-time role as a Commodity Manager.Prior to my internship, I worked for the world’s largest manufacturer of cooling technologies, where I successfully managed a critical account, netting $8M in revenue. I continue to be selected for special assignments for the Army National Guard, often representing my unit to the top ranking guardsman in the state and a number of civilian/military diplomats. I have a BA in Philosophy and also graduated from the Engineer Captain’s Career Course at the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Support Center of Excellence at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I am a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (Kandahar, Afghanistan), and continue to serve honorably in the Army National Guard.
