During this time I acted as the lead developer on our iOS, Android and Web application, then transitioned into a technical leadership position where I grew multiple cross functional engineering teams and established best practices devops culture to allow us to quickly deliver roadmap while meeting the demanding needs of our enterprise B2B customers. Key milestones: - ISO27001 : Lead the implementation of ISO 27001 and established a strong security posture to meet the needs of our enterprise retail and banking customers. -ReactNative transition: We moved from a multiple codebase iOS and Android application to a React Native codebase which reduced the need for specialist developers and also ensured we kept feature parity between platforms. - AWS Retail Competency partner: lead the partner strategy with AWS to become an ISV Accelerate and Retail Competency. -Scaled engineering post series A: Transformed the engineering team from a single team to three cross functional teams. This also went in hand with our migration to a micro service architecture. - Data engineering: Established a data engineering function to allow us to have a single view of data internally across our global customer base, whilst also implementing interactive dashboards for our customers to view their data. Used Redshift, Periscope, AWS Lambda, Step functions. - Prepared for Exit: Ensured all relevant documentation, supplier contracts, intellectual property, security was in the best shape it could be prior to due diligence.
