  Ken is a Partner in our Corporate Tax Practice and leads KPMG’s R&D Incentives Practice. KPMG’s R&D Incentives Practice - a group of tax, accounting and technologists who assist our clients in the preparation, submission, negotiation and settlement of large and small R&D Tax Credit claims and R&D Grant applications .  Ken has extensive practical experience across a wide range of industry sectors in delivering R&D Incentives advice.  He prepared and agreed what is considered to be the largest ever R&D Tax Credit claim in Ireland.  Both the Revenue and the Department of Finance were involved in the settlement.  Ken has lectured widely on this specialist subject and has published a number of articles also.  He has briefed the Department of Finance on the workings of the Credit, as well as IBEC, IRDG, American Chamber of Commerce,Republic of South Africa Treasury, the Danish Government, IDA, and Enterprise Ireland, and the Irish Software Association.  He authored the only specialist text book in this important area - "The Research and Development Tax Credit - The Professionals' Guide" published by the Irish Tax Institute.Ken is founding member of KPMGs Global R&D Incentives Group which now has members in over 30 countries.
