I am a seasoned executive with a passion for innovating and growing new businesses. Key to this is identifying and solving problems, whether they impact our customers or our own organization. My approach has always been to do what is necessary to understand the issue and find the right solution, either from a business or technology perspective. Having been a NetApp customer before joining the company, both my team and I are focused on truly being customer-centric. A key part of this is the requirement to “listen powerfully” and really hear what is being said. Throughout my career, I have focused on serving our clients and delivering value to the businesses we work with. As I look ahead to the next phase of my career, the next decade will bring an accelerating pace of innovation in how we work and the tools our teams will need to be successful. One constant, however, is the importance of culture. I reflect on how our company culture has evolved through the time I’ve been associated with the company. In the early days, we had a great culture, that saw us through both the exciting and challenging times. At that time it was a key principle to “build a company to be proud of”. Over time I’ve modified that to strive to build the kind of company that I’d be proud for the next generation to join and I’m excited to see what both my children can do on the back of Intern experiences at NetApp. Our culture is still something that differentiates us as a company and I’m proud that as we’ve grown we’ve continued to keep the collaborative identity that makes us special. I believe empathy and humility are two essential traits for any leader. I strive to exemplify these qualities myself and look for them in the leaders I work with. They are key to establishing trust, building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and driving success. My goal is to continue making a positive impact, solving critical challenges, and helping to guide the next generation of talent. I am excited for what the future holds and the opportunities ahead.
