I possess over 25 Years of experience in the field of Operations, General Management, Administration, Sales and Marketing, with more than 15 Years Experience in Managing the Operations of a Minimart / Retail Pharmacy Chain. I am presently employed as Director Operations of Harcourts Pharmacy (Pvt Ltd., a leading Minimart / Retail Pharmacy Chain in Sri Lanka . I have been successfully managing the operations of my Company’s Minimart / Retail Pharmacy Chain comprising of around 35 Retail Minimarts / Retail Pharmacies Island-wide and a Staff of around 325 Personnel.I was responsible for initiating and Launching the Mini-mart / Retail Pharmacy Chain Project by my Company. I have been overlooking the operation of the Minimart / Retail Pharmacy Chain since inception and have successfully operated the Chain for almost 15 Years and have expanded the operation in Major Cities of Sri Lanka and have established around 35 Mini-marts / Retail Pharmacies across the Country. Prior to my present employment I was employed at Hayleys Ltd, where I served for more than 12 Years. At Hayleys I overlooked the Operations of the Pharmaceutical Division, and was responsible for Island-wide marketing of Pharmaceuticals and Veterinary Medicines imported by the Company, handling a field force consisting of 12 Medical and Sales Representatives and a Dealer Network of comprising of 15 Distributors.I have also worked overseas in a Leading Supermarket Chain in the Middle East. I have undergone training Overseas at a number of Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies such as Boots Pharmaceuticals Ltd., India, Bayer Ltd., Singapore, Bayer Ltd., India and also at Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd., India and Blue Cross
