I am working with the Internet Archive on their ambitious project to preserve all references on Wikipedia, including outgoing links and references to print books. This includes writing code to match Internet Archive metadata with other open datasets such as Wikidata, analyzing discrepancies in the Archive's own record metadata, and making recommendations regarding data models and API specifications.

I worked as a product manager with the Technical Engagement team. In my role I liaised between the team and the third party software developers that drive Wikipedia's continued productivity. Two key products during my employment with the Foundation are product specifications for "Toolhub," an app store of third-party Wikipedia editing tools and "Jade," an annotation and critique layer on top of Wikipedia content.The Technical Engagement team runs Wikimedia Cloud Services, responsible for maintaining and extending the Cloud VPS infrastructure as a service (IaaS), the Toolforge platform as a service (PaaS), and many additional supporting technologies. The team works in partnership with the larger Wikimedia volunteer community to manage the physical and virtual resources that power the environment and provide technical support to volunteer developers and other Wikimedia Cloud Services users.

• Developed a training curriculum and trained 150 staff and partners in Wikipedia best practices• Carried out large-scale migrations of datasets between 200 and 55,000 entries long, includingbibliographic metadata and power tool data, to Wikidata using Python software tools• Developed custom software tools in Python and JavaScript in furtherance of Institute objectives,including an API to measure video play counts on Wikipedia• Leveraged NIOSH resources to improve Wikipedia content on occupational safety and health
