Get Backstage won the HELOA Best Practice, Outreach and Student Recruitment 2024 Award and is already a proven route to Higher Education, with 4 participants from its first 2 years already attending drama school training for a backstage career, and more applying this current year.Tasked with devising a schools roadshow and after successfully pitching for almost £500k funding alongside Guildhall's Development team, in 2024 the Backstage Roadshow was launched, taking free skills workshops directly into state schools and reaching young people without access to creative arts opportunities.
