Junior Engineer (Cad Design Engineer)
Current• Design and Develop Plastic injection mold and die-casting mold based on product specifications & requirements.• Create 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings of mold components, molds, jigs& fixtures, and detailed 2D electrode drafting including cores, cavities, all over mold & dies (press tools).• Conduct mold flow analysis and simulation to ensure optimal mold and predict potential issues.• Work with cross-functional teams such as product designers, manufacturing engineers, and tool makers, to ensure that molds meet the quality standard, cost targets, and production schedules.• Troubleshoot and resolve mold design problems, including those related to performance functionally and production efficiency.• Maintain and update mold design records, including drawings, specifications, and (BOM) Bills of materials.• Stay up to date with industry development and emerging technologies to continuously improve mold design processes and practices.• Analyse product specifications and requirements to determine mold design parameters.• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, PTC Creo, solid-edge, Solid Works, and Pro/e. specify mold materials, based on production requirements.• Maintain accurate records of mold and die design.• Stay current with advancements in mold design technology and manufacturing processes to continuously improve product quality and efficiency.• Experience with 3d cad modeling software and 2d drawing software. Strong knowledge of mold and die design principles, materials, and manufacturing methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
