Responsible for providing strategic support to the COO in terms of manpower planning, resource allocation, recruitment, talent development, employee engagement, performance management and human resource operations throughout the GCC, In addition to this, collaboration with the wider group to design, plan and implement new processes and initiatives across the Al-Futtaim group, as well as coordinating with HRBPs, to ensure consistency across the six territories; KSA, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

• Supervision of a team of 7 persons• Maintain payroll and personnel records for the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force• Approving work submitted by my direct reports• Writing of annual performance reviews of my direct reports• Calculating complex pay queries• Sole responsibility of assessing and approving expenses claims• Training and mentoring new military joiners and officers of Oracle and payroll guidelines• Calculating allowance eligibility adhering to ever-changing military guidelines• Keeping up to date with ever-changing ‘RN Books of Reference’, and disseminating to my direct reports• Travel across the region to support and enhance struggling offices
