Duties• Compiling data for architectural plans, MEP design, specifications, cost estimates, reports etc. • Preparing layouts, drawings and preliminary sketches. • Debugging, reuse, source code management strategies and release management.• Providing clear and unambiguous direction to members of the project team.• Mentoring and advising less experienced consultants.• In-person meetings with clients.• Developing and sustaining working relationships with private & public sector partners.• Involved in the planning, design and construction of buildings.• Carry out 3D designs or 2D designs as required.• Visiting sites and building relationships with site managers.KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES• Ability to balance, co-ordinate and translate the needs of multiple stakeholders.• Tenacious attention to detail and quality.• Having the judgement necessary to choose the best solution to complex problems.• Detailed practical knowledge of project procedures.• Can work on schemes within a variety of sectors.• Able to lead a project with multiple technical resources involved.• Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and Revit for the preparation of feasibility plans, sketch designs and planning application drawings.
