As functional head of the finance and commercial functions, I report to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors and am overall responsible: - For all financial aspects of the company’s operations, including financial controls, meeting the financing requirements for working capital and capital expenditures, book keeping & taxation, short term and long term investments. - To control cost, manage financial and foreign exchange risk and maintain adequate financial liquidity. - To ensure financial statutory compliance at all times. - To prepare a consolidated annual operating plan of the company along with periodic capital & revenue budgets. - To prepare and report quarterly and annual financial performance of the company along with financial presentations to the Board of Directors - To interact with statutory auditors for audit of periodic financial statements along with tax returns of the company - Risk assessment and management of all contracts & other commercial activities with customers, vendors, joint venture partners and other third parties. This includes preparation and negotiation of joint venture agreements, consortium agreements, subcontract agreements, customer contracts etc.
