Hari started practise as a lawyer with a well reputed law firm at Cochin in the year 1996. He has wide experience in handling contract, Banking, Commercial, admiralty and constitutional matters. Hari has done his LL.M in Maritime Law at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. His article on Marine Insurance is published in Southampton University Students Law Review. Hari has served as a faculty for training Judges from the Federal Capital Territory High Court of Nigeria on judgment writing skill course held at Dubai during December, 2008. He is currently the Partner at United Maritime Law Chambers an exclusive maritime law firm handling all wet and dry issues, ship arrests/release, maritime arbitration, etc. The firm handles legal issues on a pan India basis through its Offices at Mumbai and Cochin and through Associate Offices in major Port cities. He is also a Governing Council member of Maritime Law Association of India, a non profit organisation comprising of ship owners, steamer agents, ship charters, brokers, arbitrators etc. Hari is a speaker on maritime related subjects at various forums in India as well as abroad. He is also a Supporting Member of London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) and Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA). He is also a visiting faculty at Indian Maritime University, Gujarat Maritime University. The firm is handling maritime arbitrations in jursidictions including London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
