I have completed 40 years in my career. Started as a Sales Respresentative in 1976 with Avery India Ltd. I would say that the 7 years with Avery laid my foundation in Sales. Since then I have owned a business, worked with a couple of organisations before I finally joined Essae Teraoka Pvt Ltd in early April1999 and left on July 2nd 2015. A journey of 16 + years.Essae was a combination of sales and people development. Worked in various locations including Mysore, Nagpur, Vizag, Chennai. At these branches got plenty of opportunity for building up people and businesses in new areas, segments and creating new sales and marketing strategies. My last post in Essae was at Bangalore where I took up a dual role of sales and Business HR.The best part of my life in Essae was the opportunity to recruit, train, develop, mentor and coach lots of people specially of Generation X &Y and a small opportunity with Generation Z. Being a baby boomer myself, always found myself on my toes working with the younger generation and continue to enjoy every bit of it. I am looking to continue my career, training and developing people. I get a lot of joy seeing the youngsters blooming into top class sales people.
