1.Preparing and approves designs for Engineering projects in accordance with general engineering principals ; determines scope,designs, prepares drawings, specifications, bidding documents, contracts, and cost estimates for road projects; conducts and coordinates design and construction surveying,provides construction staking; serves as Project Engineer on Engineering projects.2.Supervising, trains, and evaluates Civil Engineers and Engineering staff; assists in hiring, evaluating, and disciplining employees. 3.Conducting construction inspections, reviews and approves contractor pay requests; reviews and processes construction change orders.4.- Determining selection criteria and works with Engineering and purchasing staff to selectengineering consultants and contractors; specifies parameters and determines scope ofwork for consultants and contractors; reviews and approves work conducted by consultants; reviews and approves consultants pay requests.5.Providing technical assistance and consults with other departments regarding engineering functions, site development, drainage, and transportation6.Providing technical support and training to Junior engineers. 7.Answering technical questions and provides information to the concern dept.
