Worked as an Intern at PECOL SDN BHD for 6 months. PECOL is water heater manufacturing company which has been in production for the past 50 years. The production floor is always busy as to finishing up the daily quota of 40 water heater and storage tanks varying from 11 gallons to 2500 gallons capacities. Working in PECOL was a great challenge I would have faced as a intern due to the fact that there will always be work on the production. Keeping tabs with all the work finished or unfinished in all the departments and reporting it to the Lead Engineer was one of the important task offered. If the work has to be completed soon to meet the project requirement on time, the interns will be put to work 'hands on' with the products as well. To work on higher level of welding and powder painting coating avenues, an intern must have a government certified clearance or an equivalent course completed to handle the equipment.
