Tested and documented programs, flowcharts and processing documents for transition over to production processing team.• Y2K Conversion - Responsible for identifying all programs, include modules and JCL needing to be converted and tracked progress. Developed tracking process and trained and managed programmers through this part of the project. Project was complete in February, 1999, ahead of schedule.• The system deals with the financial and business applications. It includes several programs (Batch and On-line) and JCL’s that need to be migrated from SYSA to MVS82, while doing so we need to convert JCL’s to procs and execution JCL’s and made Y2K compliant. This includes COBOL, PL/1, CICS and SAS macros. The technique used is The Fixed Windowing Technique. The date fields were identified manually and the possible impact of them on a particular program was found out. Then using the fixed windowing technique source code was changed. Then source code was Unit tested and System tested using sample production data.
