Numerical Simulation and optimization using Finite Element Methods (FEM). FEM analysis of vehicle frame designs. Multi-Body simulation using ABAQUS. Multi-physics simulations using COMSOL. Study and optimization of the simulation results in terms of both real-world correlation of the simulation results and optimization of the models and the mesh characteristics to improve the simulation time. Working with command line interface and shell scripting with Abaqus CAE.

Worked on a research project on developing Machine Learning Algorithms for Self-Driving Cars. The research project was done in collaboration with Toyota Technological Institute (TTI), Nagoya, Japan and the Nodal Centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, GEC Thrissur. The prestigious Summer Research Fellowship is offered by the Indian Academy of Sciences for a select few students from universities all around India. The program provided me the opportunity to work with the Chief Research Scientist, Dr. S N Omkar of Aerospace Engineering Dept. at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The Summer Fellowship was of two months duration and I worked on the stability and control analysis of tilt-rotor VTOL bi-copters.
