I love doing experiments. I love learning about new ways to look at things. Being idle kills me. Repetitive works bores the hell out of me. I need to keep moving to sustain myself. My career path has been a pretty amazing journey for me.Starting of as an iOS developer in a small startup based in Technopark, Trivandrum and getting to work with some great architects there gave me a fresh perspective to look at software engineering than just writing down lines of code. I received more of an architectural learning from there rather than a programming learning. This helped me a lot during my remaining career path.Over the next couple of opportunities I learned and worked on the other native mobile application development platforms - Android and Windows UWP. I also got my first lessons of organisational management and task prioritisation from working with a lots of amazing colleagues and managers during these ventures.It was FlyTXT which provided me the biggest breakthrough yet in my career. Having tried my hands on in a lot of front end technologies I had some technologies in my objectives to try my hands on in an industry level - some backend technology, a taste of some big data technology and some hands-on with the cloud technologies. And I did get my opportunity, not with one, but all three of them!I worked on some really cool spark analytical models, and even got an opportunity to set up a Hadoop test bed to test the models on.I was later assigned to the cloud team in a lead position. This was a DevOps, which had the full responsibility to work on the cloud services wing of FlyTXT’s CVM product - NeonDX.Having to work on end-to-end of a product this huge, from infra provisioning, to development, to pipeline configurations, to deployment.. and everything in between was everything I wished for and more!
