• Post legal merger of FGB and NBAD, the technology merger was set with a target completion of 1 year.
• With FGB using Norkom product and NBAD using SAS product as AML solutions, our role was to implement SAS AML as a unified solution for bank FAB.
• Along with the merger, it was also a AML database migration from Teradata to Oracle.
• With a change in the core banking application from intellect to T24, the data feed for SAS AML has also to be migrated from intellect to T24. Hence the role was also extended to provide the data mapping between T24 and.
• Provided the design documents and design walkthrough to SAS vendor and the AML compliance team.

• Implemented the Anti-Money Laundering 4.2 product of SAS - changing the design architecture and scenarios for SAMBA London based on the compliance policies and regulations of Bank of England.
• The core architecture of the SAS AML 4.2 has been changed to have a parallel run of the load ETL and AGP which is not possible in the original version.
• The new AML scenarios are created to cater the requirements of the compliance policies and regulations of the central bank of England.
• Handling data analysis, data mapping and data cleansing that are extracted from the STAR system for all the products of the bank to the AML system.
