Key ResponsibilitiesOverall management of Quality Assurance department including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, New Product Development and Hygiene & Sanitation.To ensure that products produced and shipped from Akay Spices Pvt Ltd to the customers adhere to the standards and specifications stipulated by the respective customers.To investigate on customer complaints and to work out a suitable corrective action plan.To ensure on time feedback on quality to the internal customers procurement, Production and Planning departments and interact with sales and marketing for developing monthly production plan with on time delivery to the customer as target.To develop and administrate the inventory norms with focus on both macro level issues and micro level issues.To alert the concerned people at appropriate time for better inventory control on RM, PM, WIP, Floor Stock, DMA, DMR rework and FG and ensure action on the same.Working towards continual improvements for retaining as well as establishing all the certifications audits - FSSC, ISO 9001, BRC, Kosher, Halal, SA8000 and any other quality systems audits which are essential for supplying the products to specific customers/country.To work along with Production and engineering department and find ways for process improvements which would result in better quality, less wastage, less internal rejections etc.To conduct internal food safety audits along with the audit team membersTo organize and coordinate the Supplier audits and other vendor quality audits related to GMP, food safety and quality.To reply to customer queries and questionnaires related to product specification, certifications and food safetyTo ensure quality of products, processes and systems by customer service, on time feedback and continuous improvement of systems and by developing new products.EIA IPQC Approved Technologist for the mandatory clearance of Black Pepper shipments to US.
