Presently involved in public charitable work under the '5S Trust' for undertaking rural development and CSR activitiesAs General Manager & Chief Regional Head (SME/Agri & Retail) in CSB Bank from 2017 to 2021 western zone covered the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and for Ernakulam zone in Kerala Previously, long career of more than 36 years in a public sector bank from officer to General Manger (GM) cadre in the states of Maharashtra and Kerala. During this period had the opportunity to participate in:- Socio-economic and technical survey of the Konkan region of during 1981- 82 and Vidarbha region from 1982 - 83 of Maharashtra which encompassed identification of new centres for branch expansion- During 1984 to 1992 formulated several area development schemes for plantation crops like Tea, Coffee, Rubber, Cardamom and Cashew with NABARD refinance- As branch head of both rural and semi-urban branches, took the assignment as Lead District Manager (LDM) of Thane district in a successful way which helped the implementation of the central and state government welfare schemes for rural and urban poor, backward and agrarian communities- As Chief Manager (CM) rural credit, was in charge of State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC)- Was the board of director of all three regional rural banks (Gramin Bank) and completed the amalgamation process into the Maharashtra Gramin Bank (MGB)- The financial inclusion project for the state of Maharashtra was implemented successfully during 2008 -10- Was the trustee of Gramin Mahila va Bal Vikas Mandal (GMBVM) promoting Self Help Groups (SHGs)- Initiated various innovative agri practices through Mahabank Agricultural & Rural Development Foundation (MARDEF) and established soil testing laboratories with technical support from Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) limited- Enabled the establishment of five Mahabank Rural Self Employment & Training Institutes (R-SETIs) in Pune, Satara, Nashik and Thane districts - Was heading three zones, viz. Ahmednagar, Pune East and Thane successfully in enabling growth of the business and expansion through establishment of 36 new branches Prior to joining banking and finance, worked as Junior Agricultural Officer in a World Bank project, viz. Special Agricultural Development Unit (SADU) promoting pepper rehabilitation in Idukki district of Kerala and got good service entry from Government of Kerala. After working as Junior Soil Survey Officer in Palakkad worked as Assistant Professor at Rice Research Station on Alappuzha district in Kerala from 1978 - 1980
