I worked as a Food & Beverage Attendant in the Banquets department at Cordis Auckland. I learnt the practical side of my degree and it was a great experience to be apart of the 'Langham Hospitality Group'.I was assigned as a table waiter at first, then worked behind the bar as a bartender, and after one year of service, I was given the role of section leader, where I was overlooking the service of up to 30 tables. The banquet functions were a mix of corporate events, Government functions, forums, weddings, balls and private parties.
