• Drive the team & achieve the necessary terms and conditions needed on each contract /promotion to succeed in the market place, with a focus on Pricing and Availability for Online Routes to Market.
• Managing supplier relationships and have face to face negotiations with Key Products, including Preferential Partner Agreements, which may include Exclusive Conditions, Deposits and Risk Contracts.
• Promote the commercial opportunities available to suppliers.
• Understand, analyze and identify Trends and Opportunities from Region´s Trading Reports, Destination News, and happenings also in global level that can affect the destination.
• Periodic presentations on analysis, future plans and tactics.

Costa Rica

• In charge of Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Belize, Peru and EcuadorMain Responsabilities
• Act as the face to face key point contact for accommodation supplier vendors to maintain the relationship for matters related to contracting, operational, commercial or financial activities.
• Negotiate the initial purchase quality metrics of the contract with new suppliers and contract renewals. Conditions include rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation.
• Analyze competitor benchmarking through price comparisons: pricing/inventory analysis, reviewing international and local competitors both B2B & B2C
• Maintain & expand the supplier portfolio according to targets, ensuring product diversity for the customer base: 1*-5*, hotels-hostels, city-rural based, modern-boutique, independent-chain etc.
• Identify and negotiate with key partner’s preferential conditions in direct coordination with the immediate superior & promote the commercial opportunities.
