Having based in PwC & Co. LLP Chennai, my main responsibilities was provision of advice to clients on indirect tax matters and conducting review of the operation of client’s business from indirect tax perspective. I have also drafted various representations to the Government including extending the applicability of a GST circular to certain other services. Considering my interest in Indirect taxes, I was handling the following roles in addition to my responsibilities:1. GST being a new law, for issues involving divergent views, I undertake the basic research and partner consultations to release a firm view. 2. Monthly compilation of High Court / Supreme court decisions and principles emanating from the decisions3. Monthly compilation of AAR / AAAR decisions and principles emanating from the decisions.

I am a firm believer of the saying"When you catch a glimpse of your potential, that's when passion is born". Ford being a Multinational company has offered me Multifarious experience in terms of best practices and team building. I had enough opportunities to showcase my professional knowledge on GST in Ford Chartered Accountants Society (FOCAS) and was a integral part of the Ford GST Implementation team. My journey started there and i never looked back, i am now a Faculty member for ICAI on GST.

As a fresher, being given the task of managing an end to end profile with a team reporting into me for Taxation, Finance, Accounting to Corporate law was quite exciting. Directly reporting into the Managing Director made me understand the real time business requirements. Tenure spent here is something that i will cherish for my lifetime.
