I am working as a Petrophysicist in Mining Associates Pvt Ltd (Coal Bed Methane division) since July 2010. Here is a brief overview of my Professional Experience:GEOPHYSICAL LOGGING: Wire-line Logging Operation (using Century Geophysical Logging Unit, US and Robertson Geo-logging, UK).Sohagpur Coalfield, India: In this Reliance CBM Producing Block, I carried out Geophysical Logging using Century Geophysical Advanced Stack tools (4000 Series). The Job Includes calibration and operation of Gamma-Neutron-Density stack tool, Dual Guard Resistivity Tool, Sonic Tool, Processing of Logs.Jharia Coalfield, India:In this TATA-Dart Energy joint venture CBM Producing Block, I carried out both Open & Cased Hole Geophysical Logging. Open Hole Logging includes Gamma, Caliper, Density, Neutron, SP, Resistivity logging. Cased hole Logging includes CBL-VDL, CCL, Sonic Logging in Production Wells. Singrauli Coalfield, India: In this Deep Industries CBM Producing Block, I carried out Geophysical Logging using Century Geophysical tools (9000 Series). The Job Includes calibration and operation of Gamma, Neutron, Density, Resistivity and Sonic tools, Processing of logs, QA/QC and Final report submission.WELL TESTING/ FORMATION EVALUATION: Injection Fall-off test Operation and Interpretation to determine Reservoir parameters and anomalies. Sohagpur Coalfield, India: In this Geopetrol INC. CBM Block, I carried out IF Testing in 8 wells using NQ size Packer Assembly. Satpura Coalfield, India: In this Dart Energy CBM Block, I carried out IF Testing in 12 wells using HQ 4 Stage Shut-In Tool and packer assembly.Raniganj Coal Field, India: In this GEECL CBM Block, I carried out IF Testing using HQ 4 Stage Shut-In Tool and packer assembly. Interpretation of Well testing data using Fakete Software and determine various reservoir parameters i.e. Permeability, Skin factor, Radius of Investigation, Transmissibility, Fracture Geometry and various reservoir anomalies.
