• Collecting the Technical information's like Part Life Cycle Status, MSL value, Packaging Information, Part Marking, ROHS Status, AEC & PPAP.• Providing site with requested component attributes like Orderable MPN, datasheets, MSL level, lifecycle, Electrical parameters, RoHS, Part marking, Shelf life, AEC qualification, PPAP capability, orientation of components, T&R packing for SMT mount parts(as per MOQ), Description verification, replacement MPNs for obsolete parts• Identify RoHS equivalent MPN for Non-RoHS electronic components.• Preparing necessary reports like IKW presentations, IKW dashboards, Weekly report, monthly report and metrics when necessary in a timely manner.• Alternate suggestions for parts using FFF.• Knowledge on REACH Directive, GREEN, Halogen and LEAD-FREE standards.• Involved in 100% quality check in AML validation processes.• Preparation of time study for Guad AML validation process.• Knowledge on Part Numbering System for different Manufacturer products.• Interacting with Manufactures for gathering information about the Components,Attributes depends on the Site requirements.• Maintain Component data and Manufacturer information, Product BOMs, Approved vendor lists in Global Component Database.• Works closely with Manufacturing and Engineering team from sites to assess component obsolescence risks, and proactively works with Manufacturers & Suppliers to identify and implement appropriate alternatives.• Evaluate the reliability impact of Product change notifications (PCNs) from our suppliers and coordinate review of these PCNs internally to resolution.• Having a knowledge in BOM scrubbing and Engineering Change Orders in Oracle Agile PLM.•Perform process improvements by identifying and eliminating Non value ads in the process.
