Meets with the general contractor onsite to review the work plan and schedule to ensure proper execution of the project from beginning to end. Onsite before work starts, throughout the project to completion. Meets with crew lead and goes over project expectations before crew leaving to the job site. Dispatch and schedule crew, ensure crew has all tools, equipment, materials, consumables, and PPE.Participates in Schedule meeting weekly to ensure projects are being scheduled appropriately.Maintains project data in accordance with company standards to ensure that accurate and current data are available for control measurements on all assigned projects. Provide weekly and monthly status updates on assigned projects. Additionally, is responsible for adding photos to the drive for previsit, start, progression, and completion of each project.Provide leadership to Team Lead and Supervision of all projects.Visit projects to review progress of project with respect to schedules, subcontractor and supplier performance, quality standards, safety control and Project Construction Team performance.Attend job kick start meetings prior to the start of work and that periodic meetings continue to occur as necessary, attend progress meetings, and site visits with clients.Engages in open communication with the General Manager and reports any issues which could affect the project plan.

Plan, organize, and review the performance of professional and/or technical staff performing highway engineering work;Participate in program management with staff and perform related administrative work involving planning, organizing projects, assignments, and the evaluation of staff performance;This is the first level of manager for engineering functions, and requires full-time supervision of engineering staff (professional and technical);Preparing and supervising new projectsProject scheduling, progress reporting, and coordination.Final project plan and document preparation, including quantities.Undertaking risk assessmentsEvaluating project costsConfirming that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
