With a BTech in Electronics, an MBA in Marketing, and a Post Graduate degree in Strategy from IIM Trichy (ranked 2nd in my batch), my career spans over a decade in top IT MNCs, including a pivotal role at Liferay as the SAARC region head for alliances.However, I realized that there was a huge gap in the online education industry, especially in India. The world is changing fast, and people need to keep reskilling and upskilling themselves to be future-ready. Online courses are one of the best ways to do this, as they offer flexibility, affordability, and accessibility. However, finding the right course is not easy, as users face three major problems:👉Course Discovery: With over 1 million online courses and 4000+ providers, finding the right course can be challenging.👉Lack of Information: Users struggle to make informed decisions due to limited course details and the absence of comparison options.👉Trust Issues: Over 95% of course providers lack reviews and ratings.That’s why I quit my job and started RiseUpp, along with my co-founder Navneet, who is a CS graduate from IIT Indore.
