- Analyzed the landscape of US public policy and lending for nature-based solutions to climate change. Specifically working on Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.- Strategic outreach to the key stakeholders of Green Banks and CDFIs in US to map the investment instruments and programs.- Impact-oriented deep dive into current projects and financing conducted by financial institutions for the nature-based solutions.- Recommended actionable go forward for the New Leaf team to not only create and fund a unique new pilot that could improve current systems for funding nature-based solutions, but potentially a demonstration project to create an entirely new pathway in the system itself.

Additional responsibilities added to the previous role.Financial Stability Department- Designed and implemented Excel-based Consolidated Supervision Assessment Model that evaluates financial conglomerates on Financial soundness of the group and Contagion risks faced by the bank from its affiliated entities. Consolidated Supervision Framework was also updated in light of this model.- Business procedure and manual was prepared for External Environment Assessment to compliment the Risk Based Supervision regime. This includes the sectoral analysis and macroprudential assessment. I am responsible for conducting thorough analysis for sector identification, drafting outline for macroprudential assessment report and prepare wholesome report for board's approval.- Lead coordinator with Risk Management Department for SBP Strategic Risk, namely, Financial crises preparedness and management framework and FSD departmental Risk and control self-assessment. For both of these, I have proposed mitigation plans and key risk indicators. Currently, monitoring and reporting is done on these risk indicators.

Financial Stability Department (Systemic Risk Monitoring Division)- Prepare performance and analytical reports on financial conglomerates on annual basis. These are prepared under the purview of Consolidated Supervision Framework and Risk Based Supervision regulatory regime. Financial institutions that I am responsible of include MCB Bank, United Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah, Habib Bank Limited, JS Bank and Allied Bank Limited out of total 10 Domestic Systemically Important Banks.- Annually write performance and risk analysis of corporate sector and insurance segment of Pakistan. The tasks include data gathering, applying analytical tools and techniques, writing chapters respectively for corporate and insurance sectors and preparing presentation for the top management. The written chapters are published in the Financial Stability Review, an annual publication of State Bank of Pakistan. I have been publishing for past four years.- I am coordination lead with external stakeholders. Including, IMF regarding technical assistance on consolidated supervision. Another is SECP in context of SBP-SECP Joint Task Force in light of addressing the regulatory issues at the group levels. Recently, I drafted the changes in terms of references of SBP and SECP collaboration with a view to explicitly include AML/CFT aspect.- I am leading different development projects which are designed to smoothen the processes and data cleansing of various regulatory datasets collected from the financial entities. These datasets are used by the whole banking industry of Pakistan for regulatory reporting and chart of accounts reporting. - I have prepared various write-ups, policy briefs, speeches and commentary for the management on the numerous policy topics including cybersecurity risks in financial sector, lender of last resort operational framework, bancassurance regulations, FATF action points and impact on financial system, policy measures taken by SBP during pandemic and several others.

- I have multi-level collaborations with Information Technology professionals to apply and interpret vast technological capabilities and platforms in order to create or redesign Customer Focused Business Process.- Enhanced the efficiency of the 360 degree integrated module of Dubai Islamic Bank (financial partner of ALAC) by 32% by analyzing and redesigning the policy issuance which resulted in increase in sales by 7% through Dubai Islamic Bank channel.- Heightened the operational productivity of the Claims department by 91% by designing required reports which were generated by using the in-built ERP system, CoreApp. - Interacting with developers and IT professionals to enhance the ERP system (CoreApp) sold to a South African client, Inclusivity Solutions. With help of my team, I have performed business analysis of their required specifications and processes. And, by collaborating with IT professionals we have resolved about 64% of the issues and work is in process for the remaining errors.- My other role is of being liaison between ALAC and Inclusivity Solutions. I lead the meetings which are conducted twice a week to discuss pending issues regarding development of the ERP system and support of the existing live processes.
