Went through a week long industrial training in the manufacturing sector where I learnt about the manufacture of components like Wheel Rim, High pressure valves and other key components used in industrial sector using CNC machines and other machine tools

Pursued my research internship under the guidance of Dr. Mehrdad Kermani, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), on a project titled "Analysis and Modelling of Miniaturized Magnetorheological clutch" where I helped in designing and buiding the clutch that can transfer variable torque depending on the current given to it.Utilized Microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 to control the sensors to obtain real time data tk model the torque transfer of the minauturized clutch

I undertook this internship following the summer of my second year at NIT Trichy under Dr. C. Sujatha, Machine Design Section, Department of Mechanical Engineering IIT-Madras. I worked on the topic of "Optimization of MR Damper Valve" where extensive work was carried out on the optimization of MR damper valve using Response Surface Methodology by performing static analysis using ANSYS Magnetostatic. The focus of the work was on three-dimensional modeling of the magnetorheological valve using CAD software and optimization of the geometric parameters to maximize the damping force without compromising on the ride quality of the vehicle.
