I am Harisharan, Co-Founder and CTO of Caldor Health Technologies, where we are committed to creating innovative medical devices and technologies that transform healthcare delivery for large consumer segments, including corporate and government hospitals. My journey in medical device development is rooted in a strong academic foundation, having graduated with a Master’s in Medical Technologies from IIT and AIIMS Jodhpur, specializing in Healthcare Biotechnology. I also had the privilege of being a DST India Biodesign fellow, where I deepened my expertise in innovation and non-invasive treatment modalities.With hands-on experience in developing non-invasive treatment devices, semiconductor and sensor fabrication, cloning, cell culture, bioinformatics, biomarker screening, and biological assays, I aim to deliver impactful innovations in healthcare.Over the years, I have been fortunate to contribute to multiple pioneering initiatives:Completed PatentX 3rd Edition by WIPO and Harvard University, gaining insights into global patent law, IP adjustments, and innovation during health crises.Winner of NBEC 2022 and 2024 organized by BIRAC and C-CAMP, leading impactful healthcare solutions at the national level.Secured 2nd place in the Ideathon event of INAE_SERB Youth Conclave 2022 among 250 competing ideas.Innovated a COVID Air Sampling Device, recognized nationally in MHRD's IIC Innovation Contest 2020.Won the BIRAC Technovator Contest 2019, receiving financial support to develop a proof of concept.I have also contributed to the scientific community through research at LaCONES, CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad, and a published book chapter on SARS-CoV vaccine development.
