A Finance and Business professional with over 37 years of experience in the area of Governance, Risk and Ethics (GRE). Now retired from active service and practicing as an Finance & Business Advisor. Currently serving as Advisor – FAIS (Forensic Accounting & Investigations Standards), with DAAB (Digital Accounting & Assurance Board) at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with responsibility to prepare the new Standards. Previously did the same with the Internal Auditing Standards Board and created new/revised Standards on Internal Audit. Also serving as the Adjunct Faculty at the School of Corporate Governance, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (part of MCA) and as Adjunct Faculty at Jaipuria School of Business on the subject “Business Ethics & Corporate Governance.” Been active in the Internal Audit & Risk Management profession and served as President of IIA Delhi Chapter from 2005-07. Was the Program Director for the Risk Based Internal Audit (RBIA) Program for the Institute for Government Accounts & Finance (INGAF) under the aegis of the Comptroller General of Accounts, GOI (2008). Also the Program Director for the ICAI in 2009 for their Certificate Course on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Currently, on the Advisory Board of the Risk Management Association of India and on the Academic Advisory Council of the Jaipuria School of Business. A Member of the ASSOCHAM (Industry body) National Council for Corporate Fraud and Internal Audit, and served as member and Chairman of the Jury on a number of Awards conferred by IIA, India and some other professional bodies. Also an active participant as Panellist in Conferences and Seminars on Governance, Risk and Internal Audit.
