By developing forward-thinking strategies, Wipro not only adapts but also positions itself at the forefront of the IT service industry.Technology is central to Wipro's strategy, and overseeing the CTO organization provides Hari with unique leverage to execute. Wipro's Lab45 innovation centers are at the forefront of applied research in Agentic and Edge AI, Quantum Computing, and Digital Ledger Technology. At Lab45, we work closely with clients to develop models and perfect industry use cases to unlock business value.Translating strategy into action through effective deal origination and sales execution is critical for organizational success. The sales excellence function focuses on driving continuous improvement in the deal origination, global sales process, enhancing sales assets, enablement, learning and development, and sales performance metrics.Prior to the current role, Hari Shetty led the technology sector at Wipro, overseeing client engagement, strategy formulation, execution, and P&L management. Under his leadership, Wipro delivered a comprehensive suite of technology services, ranging from silicon engineering and product design to live operations and customer success. He was also instrumental in building other industry units, such as Retail & Distribution, where he incubated and expanded the business through strategic client partnerships, elevating Wipro to a top-tier service provider. Before this, Hari was the “Change & Transform” leader within the consumer business division, driving strategic initiatives in digital transformation, cloud services, engineering services, and cybersecurity. He has contributed to these fields through articles and insights and has spoken at various forums on technological disruption and business value creation. In 2024, he was rated among the world’s Top 25 Technology Consultants and Leaders.An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Hari holds a multidisciplinary educational background with degrees in computer science & engineering, management, finance, and law. Additionally, he was part of the executive leadership program at the Harvard Business School on “Leading Professional Service Firms.”
