Overall Responsibilities:Project Execution: ● Expertise in requirement study, raising clarifications and following it up until closure.● Preparing test strategy and creating test cases.● Executing test cases, recording test results and deriving measurements.● Capable of discovering software defects, reporting defects, and verifying defect fixes.● Coordinate in administering and managing of defects in defect tracking tool.● Performing functional testing, integration testing and regression testing.● Preparing and managing test metrics.● Following agile methodology, worked in SCRUM.Automation:● Planning, Designing and building Automation frameworks● Building automation stubs/tools for testing● Automation and execution of test scripts planned● Conducting knowledge session on Automation framework built and encouraging people to use automation toolsAnd stubSkills and Tools:● Automation Tools: Performance/Load testing using SOASTA Cloud Test, Eclipse, Selenium, Parasoft Virtualizer● Test Framework: TestNG, Cucumber, Junit, Hybrid Automation Framework, Custom Java Framework for selenium, Custom Python Framework for API testing ● Configuration Tool: GitHub, Jenkins, Stash● Test Management Tool: Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence, SPLUNK, LOGS● Scripting Languages: JavaScript, Jython, VBScript, shell Script● Programming languages: Java, C, HTML & PHP Programming● Databases: SQL,PLSQL● Other : Log4jLeadership:● Communication with client.● To review project tasks periodically and take corrective actions.● Coordinating the Offshore/ Onshore team through user conference calls for discussing new functionality and resolving clarifications.
