Built operations software for doctors in Hong Kong.

This project, due to high burn rate and inadequate support capital, couldn't sustain operations. It was paused after 3 months, and focused was shifted to starting a profitable software company instead of logistic heavy business.The aim is to enable people to flexibly rent any product at fractional price of original cost. This is a platform for people to subscribe and rent products that they otherwise can’t afford to buy. Purchase of expensive products leaves people throwing them away and selling for low price. There exists no mechanism to rent and return.

I was responsible for developing a software (The Generative Engine) for animating cartoons using a method that produces expressive, speaker aware videos from a single image with audio as the only driver input. Image + audio -> (Animating Engine) -> videoRetraining speech conversion on multilingual datasets to better disentangle content and speaker information in audio signal, which enables robust control of lip motion and facial regions on inputs with multiple languages. I streamlined the entire pipeline to eliminate GUI requirement for face warping, and make it independently usable through API endpoints. I also repurposed the content animation network, which transforms content features from audio into series of frames for new facial landmarks for each audio sample. This produces a mesh of predicted facial landmarks, representing the facial animation derived from audio signal.I developed data preprocessors for generating datasets compatible for retraining the facial animation models, in support for multilingual input.

I was responsible for designing and developing multiple production grade E-commerce websites for businesses in US, which included Shopify sites, bespoke websites built with React and Next.js that had comprehensive features like authentication, integration of payment systems, checkouts, custom event calendars, APIs like SendGrid for routing mass emails, and Newsletters for subscription. This included setting up content managment systems for adding editable content on websites, alongwith Live Chat on live websites.

I took lessons in Typography, Grids, Color and it was during this time that I was highly influenced by Muller Brockmen in Swiss design philosophy, and particularly Steve Jobs in his approach to marrying design and product development. This gave way to a considerable time and study into experimenting with typography and producing art works, which later evolved into my passion for doing UI / UX development for front end engineering.

Built an organization from the school, which went on to plant 5000+ trees across Pakistan with plantation campaigns in Islamabad, Bahawalnagar, Faisalabad, and Lahore. We conducted awareness campaigns in schools, colleges, and villages in mountain ranges in the north of Pakistan.

As a high school robotics team, I competed against 25, Year 3 Engineering University teams. NERC is Pakistan’s most prestigious robotics competition held anually. Challenge was to construct a robot from scratch without using any standard parts: no commercial, off-the-shelf motor drivers, electronics modules, and chassis were allowed. Designed a multi-layered, intelligent line following robot, with capability to execute pathfinding on a lined maze, find target bins, pot balls, and reach its target successfully.
