I have worked at Citibank for 5 years in Global ID and Access Management Innovation team undertaking various projects to improve the quality of work done by analysts. We are a small team that uses our skills to come up with solutions both technical and process based to help our colleagues do their work better. Our projects tend to have a wide range,Automation: Automating repetitive activities to free time and resources for more complex work. We helped the teams move away from standard RPA solutions to using Open Source tools in order to save costs as well as provide greater flexibility.Process re-engineering: Studying the current process and identifying gaps. These gaps can be closed in variety of ways such as standardizing the processes, using automations, leveraging existing tools laterally to enable wider and more varied usage.Dashboarding: One of the first projects we took and still work on. We helped teams move away from excel based tracking to using web applications developed end to end in house.Currently we are also working on leveraging AI to improve the success of our automations.
