“Human Resources isn’t a thing we do, it’s the thing that runs our business”Realising the uniqueness and criticality of Human Resources, I started my journey towards becoming a qualified HR professional. Three things that fascinate me the most about HR is, finding answers to some interesting questions, breaking many myths and exploring data-driven approach to decision making in HR.Having worked as an UI/UX designer with TCS for clients such as American Hearts Association and ICICI, I also bring in the non-technical skills I acquired being a designer. Drawing parallels between a designer and an HR professional, a responsive, consistent, easy to access, agile and scalable design / solution is what goes into the systematic approach I take towards every customer/employee-centric solution I provide.As a summer intern with L&D COE of L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, I have designed one-day simulation based program, developed evaluation and feedback tools for orientation of GETs and PGETs, conducted benchmarking exercise on L&D best practices.
