Hariz Imran is a seasoned business development professional with more than a decade of progressive experience across private, corporate, and regulated industries, both domestically and internationally. Known for his introverted yet open-minded nature, Hariz excels in fostering teamwork from the front lines to the boardroom through research, analytics, implementation and agile leadership, delivering success with limited resources.Since April 2022, Hariz has been with Singularity Connect, where he is expanding his expertise in emerging technologies, business, valuations, legal, corporate finance, investments, corporate exercises, mergers and acquisitions. He is a strong advocate for empowering SMEs in Southeast Asia through data analytics and artificial intelligence, driving impactful, data-driven decision-making and effective business management amidst economic uncertainty.From Dec 2021 to Mar 2022, Hariz served as Vice President at Moneysave, a P2P crowdfunding platform regulated by SC. He acted as a hunter, building a pipeline in the Institutional & Government Business market segment qualifying potential clients with crowdfunding requests up to RM25 million.In 2015, he joined Pos Malaysia's group retail arm, where he played a crucial role for four years. He was instrumental in executing numerous business proposals involving over 100 government and corporate agencies. Whilst assisting in risk management, compliance and regulatory matters (FSA, BNM, MCMC). In 2013, He worked at the Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners (IERP) as a business development executive. There, he gained comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ISO 31000 and its applications in corporations, banks and NBFCs, while building an extensive network of risk management professionals in Southeast Asia.He holds a double BBA degree with 2nd Class Upper Honors from the Hotel Institute of Montreux, Switzerland, and Northwood University, Michigan. He received extracurricular training in financial market predictions from Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild and financial analytics on the Saxo Bank trading platform.During his academics, Hariz earned recognition as the "Globus" Industry Champion of 2011 for Developing Winning Competitive Strategies. His active participation in his studies, contributions to the Montreux community, and involvement in an international cultural night with Foreign Affairs delegates earned him The Diploma of Ambassadorship of Montreux, Switzerland, awarded by The Mayor of Montreux and The Director of Montreux-Vevey Tourism in 2012.
