Also responsible for setting up EHS goals and budget. • Plan, organize and coordinate the implementation of Bintai Kindenko Environment / Health / Safety / (EHS) Process consistent with corporate policy and regulatory requirements• Prepare, Implement, enforces and improves Safe Operation Procedures (SOP) for working at heights, Electrical hazards, lifting procedure and others.• Drive the department to achieved Environmental Safety and Health objectives• Interview and recommend qualified safety officer and safety supervisor’s candidates to management for hiring.• Liaise with local authority bodies for register new up coming projects.• Monitor all projects sites and update monthly reports to hire management• Recommend trainings especially those requiring external specialists to full fill the government recruitments.• Review emergency rescue plan and Participate Fire drill at all sites annually• Organising in- house training in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and ISO 19002 and ISO 14001 for managers and employees • Inspect work place to determine whether any machinery, material, process or handling is liable to cause bodily injury; safety controls installed are in place and safety steps defined in procedures and in practice.• Monitor all uses of chemicals at site compliance with proper PPE, MSDS and chemical register.• Prepare and submit monthly reports to CEO for review using latest investigation techniques.• Collect and analyse statistics on accidents, incidents and occupational poisoning / disease submit report to DOSH and management.• Drive • Monitor and assist safety personals at all project sites.• Attend tendering meeting with management and present safety presentation on implementation and zero accident statics.• Present yearly achievement reports.
