The essence of my professional career is being on the crossroads of ICT and business administration. Each discipline alternately was the most important one throughout the years. I graduated from university with majors in business administration and information science. My First job at Fokker Aircraft was about designing and implementing logistical business processes and supporting these with information systems. As a consultant at Infoprofs BV I worked on information planning, architectures for more agile information systems, developing information policies. I lead projects and was interim manager. Being a departmental head at Radio Netherlands Worldwide (Wereldomroep), I worked on designing, structuring and optimizing the business processes in my department. I developed my management skills being a project leader, interim manager and head of a department. I gained experience in commercial processes as an account manager. Managing relations with partner organizations was a major part of my job at Radio Netherlands worldwide. I gained a lot of international experience working for Radio Netherlands Worldwide. Together with my department I established relationships and closed deals with media organizations in North and South America, India, the Arab world, Africa and Indonesia. Project ManagerRenn & Partners Nov 2012 - Jul 2013HilversumWorking as a consultant for Renn & partners I am projectmanager for the implementation of the AFAS ERP software within Radio Netherlands Worldwide. There were two implementations actually. The first one was for RNW itself and lasted from October 2012 until April 2013. The second one was for RNW-daughter BFN and was from May 2013 until July 2013.My role was to manage the RNW-side of the project. I worked closely and in good harmony with the AFAS project manager Hendrik Emmens, who managed the AFAS-part of the project. Both projects went very well and were delivered on time and within budget. It was a a pleasure to work with the RNW team. They managed to do their tasks for the projects in between many other urgent matters. I also would like to make my compliments to all the Afas consultants who worked hard to get everything working the way RNW wanted it. They managed to do so because they are all very professional and have a non 9 to 5 mentality.

Head Of Media Partners DepartmentRadio Netherlands Worldwide Mar 2006 - Oct 2012Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW) produced content in 10 languages. In order to reach it's audience around the world RNW established an extensive network of 3000+ media partners with whom it shared and/or co-produced content (Radio Programs, Internet productions, Videos). Because of the decline in shortwave listeners, these media partners have become the most important channel for RNW to reach its audience. Because of this increasing importance, a special department was set up in 2006 to establish and maintain RNW's partner relations. I have been head of the department since it started and set it up from scratch together with my team. The department achieved some remarkable results:- Improve local presence by establishing a network of local representatives in Indonesia, North America, India, Morocco and Jordan, Senegal and Kenya and Brazil on top of the already existing presence in Suriname, the Dutch Antilles and Latin America.- Re-vitalize the network in Latin America, thus extending RNW's leading position - Setting up a partner network in India, including major players like All India Radio and Reliance,- Extending the partner network in Indonesia from about 25 to more than 160 radio stations nation wide as well as several leading websites and TV-stations- Improving our presence in North America from smaller stations only to leading stations in the majority of the 25 "major markets"- Revitalizing lots of the more than 600 partners in Africa as well as establishing lots of new partnerships with market leaders in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Ivory Coast and Senegal- Setting up a completely new network of partners in the Arab world, i.e. in Morocco, Jordan, the Palestine territories, Egypt and Libya, - Maintaining RNW's leading position in Surinam and the Antilles, extending it to new media and new languages (Papiamentu)The department was closed due to a major budget cut (--70%) in 2012, leading to a large reduction of RNW's activities. -
