Founded in 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Altyr Studios was brought to life as a nights-and-weekends venture of two broke college friends in a poorly furnished, run down apartment. Since then, the company has expanded and continues to grow. Our team has a cumulative thousands of hours of experience in Unity3D, Blender, and other digital tools and platforms and decades of experience in the tech sector. We successfully released a contracted iOS game in 2017, with two more in development with an estimated release date of Winter 2023/Spring 2024.Immersive digital experiences shouldn't just be limited to games. Lately I've been working on automating some of our internal IT processes via ServiceNow Orchestration (e.g., client software autopush and license autoreclamation). My colleague and I are working to implement an automated self-service password reset solution to drive down our helpdesk's call volume. Although I do enjoy automating all the things, as a desktop engineer, my role is included but definitely not limited to SCCM administration, OSD, MDT, packaging, Microsoft EA true-ups, ServiceNow-SCCM integration and automation, print auditing and secure/badge based printing, asset tracking and lifecycle management within the ITIL framework. I also co-administer client-side Group Policy and patching for our environment. And my team is always taking on new things like ServiceNow Discovery!

As part of a global team based in Schaan, Kuala Lumpur, and Tulsa, I utilized Microsoft System Center 2012 and 2007 to manage over 26,000 clients globally. I also assisted my team in engineering and maintaining our OSD/task sequences, MDT, and UDI software packages. I also certified and evaluated new client hardware, from smartphones and hybrid-touch devices all the way to traditional desktop systems. I created, updated and supported many globally distributed SCCM software packages, typically by using PowerShell and VB. Some of these packages included SAP GUI 7.30/7.40, Cisco Agent Desktop/Supervisor 9, Java, Flash, and even custom apps that assisted the user in tasks such as a VPN certificate renewal or firmware updates. I also supported our Citrix and thin client environment. Myself and the team supported internal onsite IT, 3rd party IT and also users directly for about 80 countries internationally. I also was instrumental in the Windows 8.1 and Surface Pro 3 pilot by coding scripts that customized the OS to Hilti's needs. An example of this would be a predefined start layout, user and PC color schemes, wallpapers, and removing unwanted apps from the client. I also tested and implemented new 2FA solutions with VPN/DirectAccess. Furthermore, I evaluated new VDI solutions like VMware Horizon. Lastly, I was involved in project leadership roles within the Client team and even cross-team, from communication to planning, engineering and user training to piloting, deploying, and maintaining global solutions. I championed and promoted Microsoft cloud-based solutions such as Yammer, OneDrive, and Lync 2013.

As a programmer, I started and aided in the development of a Java application that takes input data from a Pin Synthesis analysis program and plots +/- values by dot in an array of hundreds of 96 well plates. The generated plates are then used in the next phase of the pin synthesis.As an IT Technician I performed file backups and data transfers for the departments' lab technicians. I set up and configured new hardware and advised future purchases while maintaining current desktop systems. Lastly, I completed HIPPA training and securely sanitized the department's data to avoid any violations. Measures were also taken to ensure that infected PCs were disconnected from the network promptly.

As a part-time consultant while in college, I provided client and network systems support to a small business and several personal clients on a contractual basis. I performed data backups and reimaging of PCs, provided on-call support, and also assisted in contingency planning in the case of system failure.

While attending Redlands as a full time student (often in excess of 18 hours), I managed virtual and online classroom systems while also maintaining ~1000 campus and ~3500 students’ PCs. In addition, I was entrusted with the full AD infrastructure which included creating and disabling user accounts, managing permissions, and cleaning up old user accounts. Lastly I utilized the SCCM 2003 and 2007 console to provide remote support, image PCs, and push software campus-wide.
