I am an author with an MBA degree (please don’t judge me just yet!). I started my career in advertising (my second love) and gave it up for writing (my first love). Though I want to make a career as an author writing and publishing stories, I have been freelancing to support this dream. My first book, ‘The Abstruse’, was published in 2016 (available on Amazon and Kindle), and the second book is in the pipeline. After a few brief stints with local companies, I started freelancing as a content writer in 2012. In these last 13 years, I have gained immense insights and knowledge while creating content for clients from a varied range of industries. The content creation is subject to the client’s requirements. I have extensive experience in creating content in the form of blogs, articles, listicles, social media posts and website content. If the wedding invites and love letters count, you can include that too!In October 2018, in a quest to expand my horizons, I found my third love – Social Media Marketing. I have always been keen about the digital world and had an eye for the latest innovation and trends in the industry. In 2018, I decided to utilise my knowledge and experience in creating a strong social media presence for women entrepreneurs who ran small businesses along with NGOs and big brands from the sports, food & beverage and retail jewellery industry. Besides this, my love for cricket made me explore an opportunity for sports writing.
