With a Bachelor of Social Work and over 10 years of youth work under my belt, I hold extensive expertise and training in intervention, program development and coordination, workshop facilitation, peer support and advocacy, event planning, and arts-based programming. I have worked with a diverse range of service users, including queer and trans youth, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, people who struggle with mental health and/or behavioural challenges, youth in the youth protection system, people who are homeless/street-involved, and youth at risk of high school drop-out. I have designed programs and trainings covering sexual health education, mental health and holistic wellbeing, suicide intervention, peer support service delivery, anti-oppression, and gender-based violence. In addition to being a Mental Health Specialist, I am also a spoken word poet, artist, and yoga instructor. My passion is using the arts and connection to nature to create a practice of healing for myself and my community.
