As the Founder and Chair of Honest Jobs, I’ve dedicated my career to breaking down barriers to employment for justice-impacted individuals, helping hundreds of thousands of people find meaningful work and critical support services.My personal journey has shaped my professional mission. After facing significant challenges early in life—growing up in poverty, experiencing homelessness, and being incarcerated at 19—I used education and entrepreneurship to turn my life around. I earned my GED while in prison, graduated with honors from The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business, and built Honest Jobs into a nationally recognized leader in fair chance hiring.I have extensive experience in raising capital, building and scaling mission-driven organizations, and developing technology products that solve real-world problems. My key skills include strategic planning, product management, business development, and cross-functional team leadership. I’ve led efforts that resulted in millions of dollars raised, and I’ve built platforms that are used by millions of people across the country.I am deeply motivated by the belief that everyone deserves a fair chance at a happy and healthy life.
