I had worked as a Plywood Dryer Feeder for Boise Cascade though the temp agency Confident Staffing. While working at Boise Cascade I was required to think on my feet in a faced pace production environment. I was trained on how to safely operate the controls for both the manual and automatic plywood dryers. I was also trained in the proper procedure to safely remove a plug-up (jammed piece of veneer) from the industrial machines. I earned my locks on my second day as a temp. I had worked overtime on multiple occasions and assisted with cleaning out the dryers with high pressure water hoses as well as sweeping out the super-heater chamber. My responsibilities included:• Feeding wet veneer into the plywood dryer• Ensuring all safety protocol are followed by myself and fellow coworkers• Quickly and properly "lock out" the machine if a plug-up occurs (Earned my locks after one day as a temp)• Keep work area clean and free of wood debris• Calling operators on the other side of the dryer when a changeover is about to occur (Heavy Sap, Sap, Light Sap, Re-dry, etc.)• Sweeping debris and sawdust while on the floor

At the end of February, I was promoted to the Tech Support department at Plexis Healthcare Systems Inc. While working in this department I answered phone calls from clients using Plexis' software and created the necessary request ticket (defect/product enhancement/etc.) then submitted it to the queue. I also selected tickets from the defect queue and recreated reported issue scenarios using information provided by the clients and verified whether or not the issue was present in the most current version of the program. Duties:• Answer phone calls and take down client information• Troubleshoot client issues• Answer general questions regarding Plexis products• Issue product license keys upon client request (pending payment)• Compiling and delivering client upgrade packages/hotfixes/patches

Working for Plexis Healthcare Systems inc. I Tested software for claims processing and adjudication. Upon returning to Plexis, I continued testing a variety of their products including PCM (Plexis Claims Manager), GFFIE, and Quantum Choice. I have also continued testing XML based web services. I find identifying the root cause of the failure challenging and exciting. Tasks I have performed:• Test case writing• Defect ticket reports, including steps to reproduce• Creation of complex claim adjudication setups• Working with other QA members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time
