- Remotely work with Tyler Sandry of 'Innovative Audio' home automation located in St.George Utah- Configure VLANs, OpenVPN, Static & DHCP leasing, TCP/IP port routing and switching, DynDNS- Research Home Automation devices to determine the best solution for network, storage, and backup techniques dependent on the customers needs- Converse with clients to facilitate best course of action for computer/network system support- Research and compare available hardware/software needed for specific positions- Manage business resources to maximize response time- Support multiple businesses and customers between Salt Lake and Utah counties- Conduct cat5 & wireless network installation and device optimization- Evaluate appropriate troubleshooting and design techniques to prevent down time

- Provide direct support for Remote connections any EMC based storage device- Troubleshoot and assist customer with possible network issues within their network- SSL certificate management for communication between EMC global access servers and customer appliances- Use in depth knowledge of Linux architecture, network interfaces, port routing and bash scripting to find root cause of issues- Coordinate between Service Account Managers and Customers to create best customer service possible

- Dedicated time to 100's of XtremIO Server software/firmware Upgrades- Deploy new Virtual Machines within VMware vSphere(storage configuration, TCP/IP connections) for XtremIO Management Server (XMS)- My extensive knowledge of Linux allows me to perform fixes that would normally have to be escalated to our support teams- Assist in modifying Upgrade procedures and communicate with Support and Engineering teams to minimize the risks of network environment outages.- Teach new XtremIO Upgrade Engineers to all new techniques and common small details that can help make everything run smooth- Working with customers on VM Deploy's, FC Zoning, Cabling issues, Snapshots, etc. in order to prep their XtremIO network Environment for an upgrade.- Document all changes, updates, and communication in Service Request tickets**I have never broken an XtremIO environment with 100's of upgrades under my belt and 1 year of dedicated XtremIO Upgrades and Break/Fix***

- Facilitate network and computer support to 25+ international offices- Enforce IT and IS computer system policies- Facilitate shipping, receiving and dispense of devices to needed locations- Perform WAN and LAN traffic analysis and VPN support- Coordinate maintenance schedules - Identify and escalate local server issues to IS management team- Educate international employees: how to fix and troubleshoot their local network problems- Travel to out of state offices to oversee installation and configuration of new network systems
