I am currently a junior majoring in integrated marketing communications and minoring in business administration at the University of Mississippi, with a specialty in media sales. I am especially interested in fashion marketing, social media, and advertising. I am an active member of my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, where I volunteer for Reading is Fundamental and Feed the Hunger.My past job at Miss Behavin provided me with many skills that I feel will benefit me in my future endeavors. Working at MB allowed taught me the skills to merchandise, run social media accounts for a business, dress and style my peers, and attain managing skills, all while doing what I love. I would create look books to bring to market and grade the other employees'. I am great with people, I can create a project out of nothing, and I am great at merchandising and marketing.When I go home during my breaks at school I work at Hooters. Although this seems like just a waitress job, it was not. I would attend promotional events, getting people to come into the store and talking to them about anything and everything. This job also helps me to fine-tune my people skills.I have had a plethora of different jobs, but no matter where I am employed and go to school, each experience has taught me the importance of communicating with people. This is a valuable skill because you will always have to deal with people no matter where you are. In addition to my people skills, I have acquired merchandising and advertising skills as well.
