This involved Working within an online Fulfilment Centre that opened in May 2020 during the covid crisis in this role I contributed to the following:-planning and supporting the scale up of a brand new operation into a multi million pound site.-partaking in disciplinary meetings, -developing a strong positive culture within a team of over 200 reports -Upskilling and developing a team of 8 supervisors to be able to operate a large scale operation - overseeing the day to day operations to ensure orders are completed ontime and replenishment routines are completed- ensuring site compliance in a warehouse environment - implementing brand new systems and routines to ensure further profitability and modernisation - partaking in recruitment and resourcing prior to opening the site, to ensure the team was ready for rapid scale up - supporting the training and development of large volumes of new starters, while also training others to be able to do this in future- focusing on continuous improvement to prepare for further future growth and to help build the operational template for future sites
