About Harley Jennette

Harley is a creative event producer based in Dallas, Texas, with a focus on activating public spaces, supporting local creatives, and advocating for smart music and nighttime policies.Through Lively Local Markets I produce custom arts festivals, holiday festivals, music series, pop-up markets, and large-scale activations for cities, retail centers, developers, and brands.I also run New New Festival, Dallas' Music Discovery Event, which showcases 120+ artists from 10+ countries two weeks in March surrounding Austin' SXSW. The festival has become Dallas' largest indie music event, and is a key opportunity for international and national touring acts to play another market while in Texas. The fest includes a one-day conference providing artist development and discussing important topics.Lately, I have been consulting with clients on long-term activation plans for their spaces, as well as engaging with cities on smart policy changes to encourage arts activity and ease burdens on special event producers, artists, and arts-oriented businesses.Previously, I worked at the intersection of tech and the music industry where I created data-driven predictive models and wore lots of hats from festival talent buyer/producer to music supervisor.—Reach out anytime: hello@livelylocalmarkets.com
