Responsible for the lens category management and manufacturing labs in LATAM. (México, Perú, Colombia, Chile, Brasil, Argentina & Uruguay).Rol: Negociation contrats for: Raw Material, production equipements, spare parts and consumables. Selection and optimization of logistics processes & globlal forwarders. Lens category management and suppliers management. Manufacturing lab responsible (KPIs, unit cost, scrap, continous improvement projects) 2014-2018. Zone lens inventory management (mín-máx, discontinueds, promotions, forecasting).Achivements:- 3.5M USD savings in 2018 for the HQ offices in Amsterdam, which involves all OpCos in Europe (Jun-Dec´18) through a raw material project optimization. (Residence in Amsterdam Jun-Aug´18)- 1.2M USD savings in 2018 in LATAM through continuous improvement projects such as: new lens suppliers, new product portfolio, exclusive contracts for distribution, as well as optimization of flows and transportation methods from the different suppliers in the US, Europe and Asia. - Project Manager and designer of the new operations center of the subsidiary in Colombia in 2017, which allowed to improve delivery times by 50% and reduce scrap by 0.5M USD in the first year.

Responsible for all operational areas of the company, leading a team of 65 people covering the areas of international purchases, traffic, warehousing, distribution, production, Hard-Multicoat center, QC, billing, shipping and customer service.Achivements: • Improved delivery times to 95% of orders in three 3 days (vs. 5 days) and the total scrap level to 4.5% (vs. 9.8% previously).• Promoted and successfully carried out (Project Manager) the consolidation of the operating areas (Distribution Center-Lab- Hard-Multicoat ) in one operating property (total investment 2.2M USD), ensuring optimum production process flows. Also, designed the new layout of the complex flow and ensuring the proper functioning of operations.• Successfully implementation of continuous improvement programs such as 5S, 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing as an internal training program LOFT (Learning Organization For Tomorrow).• Managed to increase productivity by 40% through the purchase and installation of technology (digital surfacing) serving as project manager.• Developed procedure manuals and process flows for all production areas.• Designer (layout) new external lens manufacturing laboratory sold to Salud Digna.

Logistics responsible ( purchasing, traffic, warehousing and distribution) Negotiated and secured contracts (national and international) with air and ground transportation companies and guaranteed continuity of operation, lower freight costs and the stability of the landed cost for importation and for national distribution services.• Managed a target service level in the warehouse of 98% and a delivery time of 100% of of same day order. (vs. previous 75% and delivery time of 2 to 3 days).• Implemented a computer system for inventory control.• Managed the distribution center moving to a new location that would allow the proper functioning of the area and distribution.• Standardized procurement processes and import costs by optimizing the concept and padlocks to detect previously fraudulent practices.• Changed the operational logistics company procedures: from airplane shipments from USA to Mexico for each of our suppliers ( x3), to land transport consolidated orders in Laredo TX to cross through customs to Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas reducing landed costs by 13% and increasing the efficiency of the operation.

Rol & responsabilities: Head of traffic and international purchasing of the company.Achivements:• Changed the operational logistics procedures from: single purchases by airplane from France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland directly to Mexico to a consolidated maritime shipment from the port of Le Havre (France), decreasing landed costs by 18% and increasing the efficiency of the operation.• Directly supported the production manager in the successful change of the lay-out and change of the production area and warehouse to new facilities.
